I’m Abdulla Al-Jabri, a certified running coach and performance trainer based in Qatar. I grew up in a very active, sport-focused family, and running naturally became a big part of my life. Over time, it helped me stay grounded, build confidence, and push through some of the tougher moments in my journey

Over the years, I’ve raced distances from 5km to ultramarathons, and I now help beginner and everyday runners do the same. without injuries, confusion, or burnout. My coaching is all about real-life plans, simple structure, and support that actually fits your day, not the other way around. I focus on helping people gain confidence, improve their fitness, and enjoy the process of becoming stronger runners.

I’m certified through ISSA, UESCA, RUNDNA, and TrainingPeaks Level 2 , and today I coach athletes across Qatar and internationally under Fennec Athletics. My goal is simple: to help you run better, feel better, and grow into the strongest version of yourself, one step, one run, one habit at a time.

About Me – Abdulla Al-Jabri, Running Coach in Qatar
adidas Runners Doha Captain and Coach
In 2020, I was selected to lead and establish the adidas Runners community in Doha. What started with just a few passionate runners has grown into the largest and most active running community in the city reaching over 7,000 members. As the captain, I’ve had the honor of creating a space where runners of all levels can connect, grow, and chase their goals together.

Through structured training programs, social runs, and community events, I help athletes build endurance, improve performance, and stay injury free... with a background in sport education and a strong belief in individualized coaching, I focus on strength, mobility, and smart programming to support each runner’s journey.

Whether training for a marathon or just starting out, my mission is to make running accessible, enjoyable, and sustainable.
Outside of running, you’ll find me traveling, exploring trails, climbing mountains, hanging out in coffee shops, and creating moments that bring people together through movement.

Behind FENNEC Athletics
Jabri's journey took an inspiring turn as he established Fennec Athletics in 2020 during COVID. Back when he was just 11 years old, Jabri confronted the challenge of psychogenic stuttering, a condition that made speaking and self-expression a struggle due to the added layer of social anxiety and depression.

Driven by desire to not only overcome his own obstacles but also to extend a helping hand to those grappling with their own difficulties, Jabri channeled his aspirations into the creation of Fennec Athletics. As he embarked on a parallel journey of personal growth and development and finding inspiration in the symbolism of the fennec fox. This small desert-dwelling creature, raised in the Arabian desert known for its strength, endurance, speed, adaptation and determination, and it came to represent the qualities he wanted to include in his project.
Jabri's aim was to evolve into a better version of himself, recognizing that his own growth would enable him to better inspire and assist others. Balancing his commitments with a full-time role at Aspire Foundation, he managed to become certified as a performance coach and nutritionist. Jabri didn't want to inspire only his friends and family. Over the years, he became an adventurer and a runner. He joined various races from 5k to Ultramarathons. he has scaled the highest peaks in both Africa and Europe.
Today, Jabri pursuit revolves around cultivating Strength, Going farther, and extending hit limits daily.
Going Farther
I believe in "Going Farther," a motto that keeps me motivated to push myself, try new things, and get better at what I do. It means setting big goals and working really hard to achieve them. This mindset needs dedication, never giving up, and facing tough challenges to become a better athlete. It's a journey of growing physically and mentally, all with the goal of being the best I can be as a person and an athlete.
